Tomorrow...
Happpy Halloween! What a sweet sight it was when I opened the door ten minutes ago to a vision of 6 small children (accompanied by their mummies) dressed in fairy and witchy costumes, their cheeks pink with the cold and the biggest of grins on their faces. The littlest girl (who had obviously been practising carefully) beamed up at me and whispered 'twick or tweet' ~ how could I resist? We get the keys to the new unit in the morning ~ whoop! I am so excited, even though this means the start of at least 2 or 3 weeks ahead of me with double shifts at work. We will work as usual (we hope) for most of the day and then go over to the new unit to erect the walls and set up the office and shop during the evenings and over the weekends.
My hope is that by 24th November we will be able to open the doors of our shop to the public.
Today has been very chocolatey... milk and chocolate fragranced soaps and chocolate scented candles have made the unit smell good enough to eat. By the time it came to supper this evening, I wasn't terribly hungry!
I need to go and stick more labels onto things. Chat soon, Liz
